I would enjoy seeing a dark horse, but figure most are going to be racing for 2nd place and such. No Tomac fan either, but hard to bet against the man. He sure has seemed to settle down outdoors, other than the MXdN debacle.

Be interesting to see how Lawrence and Covington do in the 250's, Lawrence was on the pace of Prado at the end of last year. Seems like no one is really mentioning those two but they are both fast as f**k outdoors! Especially coming from the GP's cos we all know the gp guys are faster now days ;) ;) ;)

Lawrence is sort of an unknown so to speak, time will tell. Folks are still baffled by Covington's embarrassing SX season, so naturally that translates into MX for some reason... his GP days show that he should be a force to reckon with.

Doesn't look as muddy in the videos I've seen now so hopefully it'll be good if the rain stays away.

Yeah! Definitely wasn't expecting that. Fair play to Roczen though, great to see him back on top finally after those injurys. I think the conditions may have played into his hands a little.

What happened to Covington in the 250's?? Wasnt he like 20 something in both motos :?

I am sure conditions helped, but a win is a win and you know how that can build confidence and associated demoralisation for the others

Pretty bummed about Covington... after the SX debacle, now this??? He has to be at an all time low confidence wise, mentally shaken. You'd have to bet on some sort of physical issue, if so, he needs to be pulled to recover. This is embarrassing for a guy that was at his level prior to the switch from the GPs.
